The Story of an Artist
Living on Accabonac Harbor in the Hamptons, I’ve been inspired by the light and my proximity to Jackson Pollock’s studio.
Working primarily on floors and tables, I love to explore forms of expression that stir my mind, my heart, and my soul — drip painting, lissajous figures, and painterly strokes feature strongly in my work.
For year my obsession has been renewal. Up-cycling surf boards sourced from members of the vibrant East End surfing community is a wonderful way to share much that I hold dear. But my new watchword in life is to be nimble, and to that end I’ve started to produce reconfigurable art works — piece where each element can be moved or rotated to resect each owner’s mood and energise their curiosity.
Springs-studio is my soul cave — the place that inspires me to create beautiful pieces which lift the spirit. And I now have a second studio in Austin bringing new vibrancy to my work.
